THC, the active substance in cannabis, can be visible in urine for about 1 to 3 days after single use and much longer with frequent use, sometimes up to around a month. In hair up to around 90 days. Note: Zuivertest does not currently screen for cannabis. This article is explanation.
How long is cannabis detectable?
THC accumulates in fat tissue, so the window rises sharply with regular use. The times below are guide values.
| Matrix | Single use | Frequent use |
|---|---|---|
| Urine | ± 1 to 3 days | up to ± 30 days |
| Blood | hours to ± 1 day | several days |
| Saliva | ± 1 day | ± 1 to 3 days |
| Hair | up to ± 90 days |
What can you test for at Zuivertest?
Cannabis is not part of our range. You can see which substances you can screen for at our screenings. The broader overview of detection windows is at how long drugs stay detectable.
Every test result at Zuivertest includes a professional assessment from a BIG-registered doctor. For treatment decisions, discuss your results with your GP.
